How Habitat addresses the need in Lesotho
HFH Lesotho's Vulnerable Group Households (VGH) program aims to provide long term and sustainable solutions by providing holistic support to selected families. The program ensures that beneficiaries receive support needed to better their lives and eventually work their way out of absolute poverty. Under the program, HFH Lesotho constructs simple, durable, two roomed houses with concrete blocks, roofed with corrugated iron sheets.

I’ve been on a few Habitat trips but have also clocked roughly 30 countries on my “bucket” list. I’m a born and bred Canadian but live in NYC. I work in advertising but have a degree in International Development. Though I work in the “first world”, my heart is in the developing world, and I have been to China, Guatemala and Nepal and led a group in Sri Lanka with Habitat and have relished every trip. I look forward to sharing these same experiences with you!
