In addition, HFH Vietnam has provided training in disaster preparedness, financial education, hygiene practices and construction skills to more than 78,500 individuals. Team Leader

My name is Jennifer Caseley, and this will be my 6th build, 3rd time as team leader, 2nd time in Vietnam. I love to travel and appreciate the opportunity Global Village trips provide in helping me understand life in other countries. Working alongside the families that will be living in the homes is rewarding and I feel like I experience the countries I visit, not just visit them.

When not travelling I live and work in Northern Alberta as a Human Resources Manager. I enjoy working and helping people advance through employment or housing. I love to sew and can be found most weekends in my sewing room being supervised by my two cats. During the brief summer, I spend my time camping and jumping on the back of the quad with my boyfriend Dave. This will be Dave’s first Global Village build but I am certain his previous life in the military will have prepared him for the hard work ahead. And from living with me he knows how to adapt to an ever-changing situation.

My first experience with Global Village was in 2007 when I hosted the first Global Village build in Canada in Iqaluit, Nunavut. 12 years later I am still in touch with people from that build and still volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.

Construction experience is not required for this trip, just a spirit of adventure and the willingness to get dirty! For additional information or to join the trip click APPLY NOW or email me for details, VietnamGV19@gmail.com
